Keyboard Course 4 - 6 pax per class
48 sessions 1 - 1.5 hours per session (group classes only)
Objective: To equip students with the knowledge and skills to fully utilise a keyboard. Students will learn how to use keyboard to perform solo, to accompany singing or to play in a band. Musical background is not a pre-requisite.
(I) Stage 1: Keyboard Style (2 months)
Song Playing:
- Music Theory
- Sight reading
- Numbered musical notation
- Fingering techniques
- Fingered chords
- Play song with pre-set styles (drum beats / intro / fill-ins)
(II) Stage 2: Piano Style (8 months)
Accompaniment for Singing:
- Chord construction
- Slash chords
- Extended chords
- Chord inversion
- Chord progressions
- Accompaniment patterns
- Left hand chord & Right hand melody playing
- Keys, Transposition & Modulation
- Music Expression
- Transcription of song
(III) Stage 3: Band Style (2 months)
Playing with different instruments (Bass / Guitar / Drums)
- Role of different sounds
- Song Structure
- Concept of Song Arrangement

Advanced Keyboard Course 4 - 6 pax per class
24 sessions 1 - 1.5 hours per session (group classes only)
Objective: Students will learn advanced piano playing styles, how to use keyboard to perform solo with multiple tracks/ instruments, and basic arrangement.
(I) Stage 1: Advanced Piano Style (2 months)
Song Playing:
- Challenging Rhythm and time signatures
- Challenging genres (Reggae, R&B, Rock)
(II) Stage 2: Multiple Track Playing (2 months)
- Recording of different tracks
- Using of different instruments on the keyboard
- Basic song arrangement
(III) Stage 3: Song Transformation (2 months)
- Playing songs with full arrangement (just like a track on the CD)
- Transforming songs to other genres
- Different variations of playing styles
Full course duration: Approximately 6 months

Accoustic/ Electric Guitar Course 4 - 6 pax per class
1 hours per session (for group), 45 min per session (individual)
Objective: To equip the student with the knowledge and skills of guitar playing as well as to achieve the standards of a stage guitarist, who is able to perform solo or in a band. Musical background is not a pre-requisite.
(I) Stage 1: 6 months
- Basic chord knowledge (different types)
- Simple strumming patterns (introduction of rudiments)
- Application techniques of chords in songs (the basic 1-3-5 setups)
- Picking styles (alternate, speed etc.)
- Plucking styles (finger plucking, 3 fingers plucking)
- Strum & Sing
(II) Stage 2: 24 months
- Introduction to scales (minor, major, pentatonic)
- Introduction to advance tab reading (solos)
- Strumming and plucking
- Introduction to string bending and picking patterns (Part 1)
- Soloing (scales)
- Advance Tab Reading
- Learning strumming and picking together
- Revision
- Improvisation of solo
- Rock and roll playing style
- Introduction to picking techniques (Part 2)
- Combining picking with strumming patterns
- Jazz chords
